Design for Dance

My current project has drawn me towards my love of dancing, particularly ballroom and latin dancing. I took an observational drawing from my small sketchbook (shown below) and developed this image over 5 stages. I was quite happy with the results, using the photocopier to flatten each image at each stage. I used a variety of media including a letraset sheet, grid collage and cut paper. I'm thinking perhaps adding more drawn elements over the top.
