Not posted any art for a while! So here goes, I've been sent replies from 3 Universities so far, with
Leeds College Of Art sending me a task to complete. They have asked me to choose one of these symbols (speech bubble/thought bubble/No Entry/Love Heart) and create 4 images from this symbol, communicating your individual opinions on the world around you. I originally found it very challenging! Although with guidance and advice from peers and tutors, I have planned to focus my thoughts on my recent College trip to Berlin! The art we saw was fantastic! (I will upload images soon) However I felt the actual city was rather dull, consisting mainly of 'grey', modern buildings; if I'm being honest I personally felt there wasn't much character to the city.
I've discovered that my best work comes from my sketchbook work, where I'm spontaneously recording all my thoughts, sights and experiences, so this is where I've taken some inspiration and bits and pieces from to work into bigger pieces to send off to
LCOA. This project determines if I pass to the next stage of the process - Interviews! *Crosses fingers*.
